Hello, my name is Kyle Pratap and I’m currently a freshman at the University of Nevada, Reno majoring in accounting. I was born in Sacramento, California but moved here to Sparks, Nevada around 2012. I’m attending UNR because I still want to stay here in Nevada and I think that this university is right for me. Currently I’m not working right now but I do have 1 year of experience working customer service in Macy’s. The type of career I’m interested is something that will make me good money, keep me busy, and something that aligns with my strengths.
Skills I’ve picked up from my job include:
- Customer service
- Cash handling
- Being familiar with Point of System (POS) transactions
- Working with a team
- Knowing what’s on the floor
Things I’m passionate about being able to learn more whether it’s from my hobbies, from school, from family and friends, or even something from social media. I like keeping a good state of mind by doing hobbies I enjoy so that way I feel good about myself.
Some hobbies and interests I have are:
- Weightlifting
- Brazilian Jiu Jitsu
- Sleeping
- Hanging out with friends and family
- Playing video games on my PS5
